Floor Group Creation

This
menu is used to group the floors that were created in the floor definition
menu. Floor groups are also used for various operations in the system
such as: manual operations (unlocking schedules), access levels, etc.

From the
Groups tab, select the
button.

Select
the
button
to display all the sites defined in the system; then from the
drop-down list, select the connection or gateway from which you want to group
the floors.

From the
drop-down
list, select an existing group if you want to modify it; or click the
button
to create a new group. Then enter the name of the group in the language
section.

From the
list of defined floors that is displayed by the system, check the state
column for the Floors you want to include in the group. Only floors that
have the state field selected will be enabled when:
•
A manual
unlock operation is done, or
•
An “input”
is programmed, for example, as a push button to enable floors for visitors
(

tab),
•
Cardholders
present their card to the card reader to enable floor selection when the
controller is operating in stand-alone mode (due to communication failure).
Only the floors marked with an “X” are available for selection.

Only floors
that have state selected will be enabled when:
•
A manual
unlocking operation is done, or
•
An “input”
is programmed, for example as a push button to enable floors for visitors
(input definition menu - elevator tab),
•
Cardholders
present their card at the card reader to enable floor selection and the
controller is operating in “stand-alone” (due to communication failure).
Only the floors marked with an “X” will be available for selection

A
schedule for each floor is assigned in the Schedule column (Global gateways only).
